Say Cheese!

One of the best "firsts" that a baby does is SMILE.  A baby's smile can melt your heart.  As parents, we do the craziest things and talk in the silliest voices to get our babies to smile.  But all of the funny faces we make are worth those first smiles.  I still do crazy things to get Dylan and Amelia to smile for the camera.  Maybe one day they will just say cheese and smile when I ask for a family picture...maybe.

When Cora was starting to smile, you could see it in her face.  She would work so hard and raise her eyebrows and wiggle her body around.  Finally, it happened.  Those chubby cheeks squeezed, her dimple showed up and her eyes squinted as she grinned back at us.  It was priceless!  Here are some of her smiles in progress...
